Travel Tip #1 // Croatia
Take a day trip.
Put me on a boat in the middle of the Adriatic sea any time! This August I was incredibly fortunate and took a trip to the amazing country of Croatia. I instantly fell in love with the clear clear clear blue waters of the Makarska Rivera. We set up camp in the busy city of Makarska. It's such a beautiful place (photos of Makarska to come soon) to spend a few days exploring...and on the 4th day we took a boat day trip! Yes, my friends island hopping. I highly encourage it! The open sea and fresh warm air paired up with quaint villages and beaches just screaming to be explored with plenty of locals to watch.
With my camera and boyfriend by my side we took a boat day trip to the island of Hvar and Brač. We toured the little villages and did what the tourists do...took photos and ate fish. The town of Bol has one of the best beaches in the world - the Zlatni Rat beach. I managed to take a few photos before setting my camera down and dipping in myself!

We went off the beaten path and explored Jelsa.
My boyfriend wears purple shorts and looks good in them!
Below: The island of Brac. Headed to Zlatni Rat a very unique 2 sided beach! My saying of "I'm not a tourist, I'm a photographer' didn't work here....After making it to the beach, I hid my camera away and played in the waves. It's a must when you're on one of the top rated beaches in the world right!?!?!

The Perfect Gift // Mini Books!
Hey guys. I wanted to share with you one of my absolute favorite products that I offer! Accordion Mini Books. These things are soooo cool and make the perfect little gift or stocking stuffer for basically anyone. I custom design these 8x8cm (3x3inches) books for families, weddings, and boudoir. Each book comes with it's own plastic sleeve for protection in case you want to throw one in your purse or keep just it clean. They are also magnetized so you can stick them on your fridge! How cool are they!?
Also, check out my post on Beautiful Boudoir Photography. The boudoir book is peeeerfect for a sweet little gift for your groom the day of your wedding!
Give me a hollar if you'd like one created from your very own photo session with me!

Driving through Fjords // Life in Norway
A road trip through Norway might include ---> breath-taking fjords, high as heck roads, tiny as heck roads, loads of sheep, sunshine, rain, more rain, green-blue waters, 900 year old churches, glaciers, waffles, itty-bitty villages, fresh fruit, tents, cabins ....and the list could go on.
-----
The Hardanger Fjord is known for fruit! There were plum and apple trees everywhere and delicious moreller (cherries) for sale on the side of the road.
Above: Norwegians used to store their food in these 'stabbur.'
Above and Below: Lom - an adorable little town with one of the oldest and biggest stave churches in Norway!
Above and Below: Views of Jotunheimen - Norways highest mountain area with summer ski resorts and glacier hiking!
Below: Hopperstad Stavkirke in the Sognefjord region. It was built around 1140! Holy crap that's old.
I'm totally envisioning Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood here??
