Lost in France // International Wedding Photographer

"It's the possibility of having a dream come true, that makes life interesting"  - Paulo Coelho

Dreams have been a driving force in my life. Dreams provide hope. Spending a few days in the south of France was truly a dream....a magnificent adventure! I had debated back and forth if I should attend the Lost in France Workshop by the Norwegian Wedding Magazine & Archetype Photography and I'm sooooo glad I followed my heart and booked the flight.  I entered my room at the villa overlooking the mediterranean sea and on my bed sat a postcard with my name on it with this perfect Paulo Coelho quote.

It was so cool and an honor to work and learn alongside amazing photographers and talented people from all over the world.  Not only did I learn a lot about photography, business, and great tricks of the trade, but I also met some wonderful friends. I must also mention I ate some delicious food and drank my fill of wine and champagne!  Waking up at 5am for shoots every day, shooting through the afternoon and sunsets was so much work and I LOVED every freeking second of it.  I came home inspired and the will to continue following my dream of living life as a photographer.
Thank you! :)

Rosaria & Håvard // Utstein Kloster Wedding

The maid-of-honor may have said it best in her speech...it's ridiculously amazing and special that a couple who has been together for over 14 years is now getting married!  Through the test of time (and 2 adorable children) it's still obvious that Rosaria and Håvards love is strong.... and seriously....the way he looks at her....you can tell he's going to love her FOREVER + ever.
I had the privilege to hang out and get to know these two a little bit during their engagement photo session in Haugesund.  Which means by the time their wedding ceremony rolled around I was tearing up during their vows.  By the time the dinner speeches came by I was full on dropping some real tears.
R & H - I feel honored you chose me to capture a little bit of your story!  You made us feel like we were part of the family.  Thank you.

Ceremony Location:  Utstein Kloster Monastery
Reception & Catering : Utstein Kloster Hotell
