La Frenchy Festivale

I met up with some fabulous ladies last week and shot some images for the upcoming La Frenchy Festivale at Tou Scene in Stavanger. We actually did our shoot at Tou Scene which as you can see is AAAAmazing. The coolest chairs, old radios, stages, and windows! Celine and I shot this one together and soon realized that when you shoot past 4pm in Norway in January there is No Light. Yep, we're looking forward to the all day sun in the summer.

On to the lovely and very talented Singer Jean Jameson. Come on out to the Festivale to see the neatest event in Stavanger.

New York, New York

Way back when it was 2010 I hopped over to New York with my favorite peeps. It was colder than I expected...however for my first trip the lights, people, cabs, pizza, martinis, coffee, metro, and Christmas decorations did not disappoint. Aaah, can't wait to go again!

In other news...yes, it's true! I'm back in Norway. So, call me up if you're here or leave me a email message if you're not in Europe and not into international rates. ;) I'm planning on getting full swing into my photography and looking forward to hours upon hours of editing. Yeees.

Rachel and Matt: Engaged

They're Canadians eh! And they freeeeking rock my winter boots off.

One from Prince Edward Island the other from Vancouver... they were some how destined to meet in the middle of the country, Winnepeg. Rachel is a friend from the college and Studio One days who I secretly/not so secretly looked up to because she was sooo full of energy, spice, CONFIDENCE, and had the coolest high heels in town. When I finally met Matt I could instantly tell that he was the pea to her pod. I'm not even kidding these two have chemistry and just seeing the way Matt adores Rachel touches my heart and gives me a smile almost as big as hers.
After trying for months to schedule an engagement shoot with these two it finally happened in good ol' Grand Forks, ND. The roads were slick and it was freezing eh! It must've been their northern blood that let them brave the cold and run outside in tights and heels.

I wish I could fast forward to their wedding on P.E.I. this summer. It's going to be so amazing, full of looooooove, really hot, and I will most likely cry like a newborn baby.

Kelsey & Evans Debut!

Photos of this big sister and little brother have been FAR over due!  This last week I was so lucky to spend a few days with Kelsey and Evan, my niece and nephew, in Colorado!  Kelsey was just over a year old when I lived out in Boulder...seven years ago.  eeeeeek!  I can't believe she's now eight and Evan is no longer a chubby little baby but an incredibly smart and full of energy 5-year-old. ( In January)  Both of these two have voices of angels and I see a mini Taylor Swift and the next Michael Bublé in the making.  Well, we took a little stroll around the neighborhood right before school started...what a refreshing way to start the day.  :)

It's been special and wonderful to watch both of you grow up!  I miss you already.
