Into the Dark Woods // Norway Inspiration shoot

I realized I didn't get a chance to share more of the images I took awhile back from a personal project I was working on. Sometimes I need a change from babies, families and weddings so I went a bit dark. Now going through the shots I realized it's totally a Game of Thrones feel! I guess the Norwegian woods are perfect for the show. We are sort of like the North wall. Happy Monday!

Sailing Lysefjorden

It's rare when a perfect sunny weekend comes along in Stavanger....but when it does...it's INCREDIBLE. We were lucky to head out with our friend Arty who is actually in the British Navy and has a beautiful sail boat. We sailed down through the Lysefjord and underneath Preikestolen.  On the way home we were joking that the only thing that would make this day more perfect is seeing a whale or dolphin..and of course soon enough they were swimming next to us in the sunset.  It was a dream.  THANKS ARTY!

I had the honor of photographing "Prosjekt Pupp" earlier this month.  Silje Opofte brought together artists, musicians, comedians, and more for the day and the event raised over 120,000 Kroner for the Brest Cancer Association! Talk about amazing!  Below is just a sampling of photos I took.

Sonja in Shades of Grey.

I made a mid-week trip to Duluth and visited Sonja. I took a few shots. I used to think Sonja and I were related. I came to find out we weren't because she wasn't at my family reunion. Oh, how I was so disappointed. :( I still say 'Saum people' are better than others! I think it's something about our hearts.

New York, New York

Way back when it was 2010 I hopped over to New York with my favorite peeps. It was colder than I expected...however for my first trip the lights, people, cabs, pizza, martinis, coffee, metro, and Christmas decorations did not disappoint. Aaah, can't wait to go again!

In other news...yes, it's true! I'm back in Norway. So, call me up if you're here or leave me a email message if you're not in Europe and not into international rates. ;) I'm planning on getting full swing into my photography and looking forward to hours upon hours of editing. Yeees.
